I chose the principle catch and store energy because I feel like it is one that we can all participate in. We can harness the energy of the sun and store it in batteries or we can harness that same energy and grow plants for our own source of energy. In nature I feel like plants are the best example of catching and storing energy and that’s why you can see a connection to that in my logo. Plants harvest the energy from the sun and through photosynthesis they can grow to be very large, produce fruit and vegetables or even provide shelter to us. Without plants we wouldn’t have the opportunity to design humane tech. Plants are essential because they teach us how we can catch and store energy.
Plants are the best example in nature of how to catch and store energy we can utilize the same ideas to store energy in batteries for the benefit of all.
