This logo embodies permaculture principle #12, creatively use and respond to change. I chose a ‘space’/sci-fi esc theme because I believe we as a species are moving closer and closer to a world in which space flight/travel becomes somewhat of a normality, and with new untouched territories, there must be new laws/boundaries put in place for the general ecosystem of our local solar system, even the milky way galaxy at large. I think the minimal line-based logo I chose to create represents the change we’re moving closer to every day. I decided not to add color because space is mainly a void, circling back to the ‘unknown territory’ aspect I mentioned earlier, not to mention its simplicity to replicate. I think this logo could be used to inspire great change and responsibility when it comes to entering this new realm of possibility(space) with a mindset that doesn’t forget the lessons we’ve learned on our home planet.
If I were to describe the principle for the logo I created in one sentence, I would say this;
“To create a movement, or feeling in the viewer to inspire the change you desire”
