For my principle, I chose “Catch & Store Energy” because clean energy is something I’m very passionate about and I think it is something we need to aggressively expand, and soon. To achieve this goal of harnessing and using clean energy, more work needs to be done, more hydropower dams, solar panels, wind turbines, geothermal plants etc. need to be constructed in nature, and it needs to be done in a manner that minimizes the impact on the environment as much as possible. This will make tech more humane by powering other technologies through a method which lessens the amount of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere from other methods.
A short phrase to remember it would be “Surf into the future on clean waves!” And to describe this image quickly; The capture, storage, and use of green energy through clean hydroelectric power, (which is represented as waves on the bottom of a lightbulb,) will light the future into a greener and cleaner world.
