Destructive memes tend to get around the internet a lot faster because a lot of people think that they are funny which positive memes tend to be more informative rather than meant for humor. I think if we tried to popularize positive memes by adding more humor, they may be able to become as widespread as the memes created to hurt people.

Destructive Meme- This meme shows the ‘levels’ of tall people jokes. The first two are ones that are fairly well known and people tend to use them a lot while the last one is definitely more creative. It is a destructive meme because it promotes making jokes based off of someone’s appearance. It is definitely something that tall people hear a lot and it can be destructive.

Alternative meme. This meme shows that when people make tall jokes, the people it is affecting may not find it funny. It is a joke based off of someone’s appearance and I tried to use this meme to show how it can be damaging and harmful.
