When I first think of some type of harm that has come to me, the first thing that comes to mind is my neck. Having worked in a manual labor job, my neck muscles are often very sore. Combined with being back at college and sitting in uncomfortable chairs all day, my neck can feel quite messed up sometimes. To fix this vulnerability I try to practice good posture as well as doing stretches and using things like icy hot, or Biofreeze. I also try to take breaks while studying or doing homework, in order to stretch and take tension and stress off of my neck and back.

In order to address this harm in a way that involves tech, I imagine an app that encourages people to get up and out of the house (much like the Pokemon GO craze). The app would work like a traditional social networking app, but would instead encourage people to collaborate with each other and to get out of the house to meet new people. This is much easier said than done as there are many risks to meeting strangers off of the internet, but in an ideal world, you would be able to use the app in order to find new friends in the real world and not just online. This hypothetical social networking app would be a way to reintroduce the younger generations that are plagued by being online 24/7 to a more traditional and healthy social life.
