From the article I looked at “The negative effects of tech” from medical news today. One issue that stood out to me was how tech affects physical health and from the many that they suggest I would pick eye strain. Eye strain is usually affected by screen glare and spending a lot of time in front of any device.
As for myself I do spent a lot of time on every possible device I own, which over the years has made my eye sight way worse than it was. So now not only do I wear prescription glasses but I also got prescription blue light glasses so that I can spend a ridiculous amount of time without damaging my eye. However this still is effecting my eye in some way because spending a lot of time looking at a screen with out without glasses is still damaging towards your eye.
One of the solutions would be is to use some sort of app limit or have your phone be locked off for a certain amount of time. While this option is available on our iPhones but I don’t find It very useful, because you can turn it off when it happens. So a solution would be is to have a setting to have the WHOLE phone/device off for a certain amount of time and you will not be able to turn it off. This solution I believe will allow a lot of us to go and be involved with something else on the outside world.
