Rather late, but nonetheless my previous break revolved investigating VR technology. How I could summarize my VR experiences and investigation fits the following areas. Firstly, just experiencing different utilizations of my Valve Index VR set. VR is an area of innovation that most intrigues me from the perspective of interaction simulation. Secondly, learning how games and apps have evolved around VR. Going from older products to newer products there’s a unique and fast paced level of development. Features like movement, grabbing objects, utilizing grip strength, and handling the placement of the entire physical body are all key areas where progress is still occurring. Finally, learning how individuals socially interact with VR equipment. Some of the immediate spawns of VR include VR based chatting applications. In a way, that seems quite reasonable considering social interaction is a driving force for how humans get through each day.
Like a moth to the flame, investigating new tech is too interesting for me. Physics engines, 3D printers, VR equipment.
