This is important because the decisions we make an life can have lasting affects on yourself and others around you and because expressing emotion allows others to see how you really feel. A world where this would work would be in a society that isn’t obsessed with hoarding as much as possible and focusses more on giving. The costs would be allowing people to see the importance of giving rather than taking. Eventually leading to everyone giving real world items to their community members.
