My design is an app that works like Instagram or Snapchat, but in order to make an account with proof of Identification, maybe NOT where you live, your SSN, your bank info etc, but just the basics like name and where your state is, only so the users who are just creeps and harassing people get caught. This app wouldn’t have any work around either, you can only join it if you have an ID, which means no kids either, they are being hurt the most which is why I want this ID system in place. This could benefit in many ways, less children knowing things they shouldn’t, kids just being safer in general, not letting people use this app if they have a record attached to their ID, etc.

        I picked attention because I work with kids and see them talk about things they shouldn’t even understand and it sickens me, especially when I ask how they found out about it, being from kids games, that’s why I think this topic should be brought to everyone’s attention! Roblox was a bad place for creeps to communicate with kids for a bit but they added the ID system where you must be 13 years of age with a proof of residency or a driver’s license to use a mic, this could be good on every app, but we all know what can happen just might. The downside is your data could be taken, (more than it already is) like where you live and what you do, exposing the things you do regularly, or even getting your ID stolen.

        I know most won’t support this for the fear of losing their security but for the ones that do support I know it’d be the ones who were hurt or knows someone who was, they would enjoy this idea of knowing that if someone does something horrible they can be taken care of justifyingly. It would probably pull other people and communities in and create a bigger, hopefully safer, community, one all for the safety of themselves and the next generation. 

        The cost would be very minimal, you’d really only have to pay the people who will write the code for keeping track of IDs and what people get reported, the only materials you need is a good server or multiple servers. The labor of code writers wouldn’t be too crazy, it’s just thinking and typing amongst others to create the proper code strings. The other costs may include a place to store the servers for this app/program, also the people working on it, and the people looking at the reports if they’’re made.
