It is possible for everyone to be creative and unique. They can show their style and identities through art. The shirt will lead them to not only inspire and being creative however they can also support the others in need by all the profits excluding labors will be donated to decided charity.

Why is this many-to-many?

This is because everyone can be a designer and create an incredible design that there will be only one in the world. Uniqueness and being yourself is important as it shows you how this would make you different from others. We might also invite famous artists and designers to participate in this and create the inspired art that will exist only one piece in this world.

How New Media link to this project?

We are using social media to spread our ideas and products around the world. Social media is one of the platforms that would help us to gather great designers, artists, and customers who are interested to create an art form that can be worn. We not only helping others inspired and creative but also donate to many charities to help support a better world.

Design for humans.

People’s needs are important and being creative is one of self-actualization. We are trying to create unique products. We are aware of how materials should be gathered and the cost of them. The products will do no harm to each and every one. We also are trying to save the environment by using biodegradable materials such as shirts and paints. We are happy to have everyone participate in our campaign to build their creative and create uniqueness.

Brand Name: – The brand that has no name, you are the Brand Name.

Clothing brand where every shirt is unique, like you.

Roles / What needs to get done:

Prototype – Brett

Research RAW materials (paint, shirts..) – Than

Design Logo / Marketing (Social Media) – Cevin

Copyright / Domain Name / Website (illustrator) – Jared

How much? / who to sell to / write up about product – Evan

The cost of what it would take to get it started.

Production goals – starting at $10.50, auctioned until a certain amount.. By trying something new, every product is unique in its own way, meaning no two shirts are the same. Without the clothes defining who they are, they are representing themselves with what they believe, finding the art in the clothes they wear.

Because production is all local and small scale, transportation with being done through shipping services like USPS, FedEx, mail.. The waste includes empty paint containers, fabric markers, or any leftover materials that were not used on the production of the shirt.

Because production is at a small, personalized scale, only making one t-shirt at a time, there will be a limited number of inventory. With hopes to make a profit, auctions will be held to increase the price starting at just $6 (the cost of the original shirt).

With hopes of expanding in the future to other products like pants, the designs will only get better.

Define: What are the user’s needs? Does the need addressed by this product also address other basic human needs mentioned by Hari, Maslow, or Center for Humane Tech? Pick one or more of these rubrics and show how your design uses best practices

The needs – personalized art. This product is created to make individual customers feel “unique” and be themselves. This is not only creating the uniqueness but also helps support many kinds of charity. The amount of money will aid the other’s needs.

Evan – Ideate: Brainstorm a rich array of possible directions the project could take. Think outside the box. Surprise us.

Ideate:

Using Natural/Recycled Dyes: Using natural and recycled dyes can not only be a resourceful way to help reduce our waste but can also add additional uniqueness to each t-shirt. If some shirts are produced with recycled printer ink, while others are produced using a dye from beets or flowers, each shirt will have an additional variable of “uniqueness”.

Randomness in Nature: While each shirt should be functionally unique, we could offer different lines of shirts that were uniquely created in the same way. This could be using paint-covered balls bounced on a shirt, paint-covered wind chimes blowing up against a shirt, or similar randomly occurring things in nature.

Unique Text Combinations: Rather than creating unique patterns, we can randomly string together phrases of two or three words generated at random and print them on a t-shirt. While each shirt would be made the same way, each shirt would be dynamic and have some sort of meaning behind it.

Put More Effort into Uniqueness, Sell as a Premium Product: The more elaborate or personalized the process to make the shirt is, the higher the shirt can be valued at. If we had an animal put paint on a shirt or had them painted in a weird location, like the top of a skyscraper or underwater, people would be willing to pay more money for the same product due to the creativity that used to produce it.

Integrate Matching Accessories: You can produce/modify jeans, shoes, hats, and socks in similar ways as the production of the shirts. These accessories can be sold along with the shirts, to further diversify someone’s wardrobe.

Logo Consistency: Every product sold should have our logo in a similar location, so our brand can be identifiable despite each product appearing unique. Our logo will be applied after the design of the shirt, so it isn’t obstructed by paint and will be large enough to recognize from a distance so that we have better brand recognition.

Use Crowdsourcing Creatively: We can use the general public to help contribute to making shirts. We can make “social experiments” involving outside input to produce a shirt. This could be choosing colors, choosing how the paint is applied, and just generally creating a direction for which a shirt might be made. They could even produce shirt designs on iPads and these designs could be scrambled or rearranged to produce unique shirts.

Possible ideas – Making sweatshirts, pants, t-shirts… Maybe start selling t-shirts with a canvas? Like you do a painting on a canvas, press the shirt on the wet paint to make a print, then sell both the canvas and the shirt.

Prototype: Create a visible or tangible representation of your project. You can use any tech you have learned so far–Adobe products, photos, Adobe Spark, Web gallery, etc You might even consider Adobe XD (free) id you want to mock-up an App.

Test: You should do at least one round of tests with another group and keep a record of findings, then explain how you were (or were not) able to incorporate the feedback and why/not?

Revise: Create a prototype that reflects as much feedback as possible

Raw materials

Paint

Fabric paint: raw materials->linseed oil, acrylic or latex

a dye or pigment to give it the color

Our product is hand-made and designed by customers.

biodegradable paint (higher price) using natural materials to create paint.
