jetpack domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/jolineblais/jolineblais.net/nmd340/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6131In finalization of our client site, I realized a bit about the work that we completed this semester. I found myself getting frustrated often because I felt as if I was not only doing the load of the work, but that I was also the only one communicating with Katherine. Upon our first presentation to our clients back in the beginning of the assignment, none of us had communicated to create an initial design, so I had to put one together the night before, which was obviously all of our faults. From then we used my website as the basis for the rest of the semester – which was great. However, from there forth, I was the only one to work on the design and on the landing pages, and was the one who was communicating with Katherine for the rest of the semester. I was overwhelmed as Katherine would send email after email, and after a while she began to email me alone. It wasn’t until the last two weeks of work that Violet and Katie really asked what they could do, where I asked them to fix the footer and finish up the landing pages.
I’m not trying to claim responsibility for the website’s entirety, but I’m comfortable in saying that the majority of the work was done by myself. I do resent not assigning tasks for each individual person, however, I feel like that wasn’t my job as an individual, and it’s something we should have all discussed. In the beginning we all had presented great ideas, but hardly any of them were executed. Sadly, I was relieved when this semester ended solely due to the fact that I was so overwhelmed with emails and requests – which would have been fine had I had more help – and it just caused me so much stress.

Katie, Violet, and I last met with Katherine on April 29. We discussed adding a footer that includes hours, address, phone, and email, which we did. We decided to send her a WordPress tutorial so that she could look back on it when her or Marie go to edit the website in the future. Using CSS we changed the title in the header. We were supposed to meet with Joliene at the same time but had to cancel due to Covid shot side effects. We added fillers to the landing pages.

Personal Portfolio
I completely redesigned the homepage. Color, layout, etc. I added a footer that includes my social media links, along with adding a gallery on the center of the page. I’m currently working on making all of the landing pages cohesive.

Above is the final link for Trello. Honestly, we didn’t use it as much because we thought that communication and materials sent through Slack and email were more effective.
]]>For the client site we added images with links to the homepage, added ‘visit us’, ‘contact us’, and ‘follow us’ buttons with links on the homepage. Used CSS to edit site background pages.
For my personal site I edited menus and cleaned up the phrasing.
