Description
For the images below, I chose to demonstrate size, texture, light, shadow, depth, focus, and color. These images, first of all, were taken at Olivia’s Garden, a greenhouse mainly producing tomatoes, micro-greens, and, of course, basil. For me, it was very fun to capture subject matter with a specific goal in mind to portray each of these elements. For example, when I was looking at size, I chose to demonstrate that element with the wide and expansive feeling that the greenhouse had. Because light was coming in at every corner, the building seemed so big. So in the photo captioned “size” below, I chose to show what I mean by expansiveness by capturing that feeling and focusing on the light that was coming into the building. This was ultimately a great assignment to learn how to see things in a various perspectives and various points of direction.
