Rule of Thirds EmmaH

I wasn’t feeling well over the weekend, so I included some photos I’ve already taken for this. I chose sports, portraits, and close up photography for my three categories.

This one is interesting because the bottom third is most in focus.

I think this one is fun because 2/3 is fence, but you can still see the background behind the fence too.

This one is different from the other ones I took because it’s not quite rule of thirds because of the angle.

I liked this photo the best out of any of the portraits and I think it’s because one third is on the left, and then it also goes diagonally to the right bottom corner.

I liked the horizontal thirds in this one.

I think the focus in the middle contrasts against the rest of the photo.

The curled leaf in the left/middle in focus really stood out against the rest of the photo.

I think the orange on the left contrasts with the brightness and green in the rest of the photo.

I thought this close up was really fun with the bright orange, wet leaf against the more dull background.

I liked the contrast of the green vertically down the middle with the wood and brown texture on each side.
