Rule of Thirds – Sara T Notes are on captions. I’m excited to start working on more geometrical objects! Nature is lovely but it is beginning to get chilly. This one is 2/3 plant and 1/3 sky giving an upward motion to the photo. This one is interesting because of the framing of the tree, but it also is broken into 3rds by grass, water and treeline. I really loved these cute chairs! There is horizontally 3rds, going from water to man-made objects to background. Each man-made object in this image is in its own square. This one I liked because of the framing of the trees! 1/3 ground, 1/3 light and 1/3 pine branches. This took patience to get right. This one was a less favorite of mine, but the pine branches perfectly divide the image into thirds. This is a good example of rule of thirds from last week. This was also a good rule of thirds from a past photo. The thirds are more veritcal in this image and much more subtle because of the blurred tree in the background. This one doesn’t follow rule of thirds but it is still pretty! This one doesn’t follow rule of thirds but I love how the stump divides the image in half.
