While editing this photo, I very much wanted to focus on bringing out more of the sky and pole in the background which actually came out quite well. I also wanted to make the color of the light painting itself a lot bluer and more vibrant, making a more cohesive color than a mixture of blues and whites in the unedited version.

This photo edit took a lot of time to bring out some of the hidden details as well as trying to hide certain details that distracted the viewer. For example, I focused for awhile on trying to make the light from the car passing in the background to really pop as well as removing a lot of the empty boring space on the left side. To do this, I cropped, used brushes to increase exposure on the lines and also to reduce exposure on the left side on bags of mulch that were in the frame. I also really wanted to take out a lot of that bright amber color because I didn’t want that to be the main focus.
