Berries
The berries were a really cool subject to practice HDR photos with especially during sunset. I’ve always had issues with sunsets backlighting subjects resulting in silhouetting that I don’t always want but by using HDR, I get to see all the detail of what is in focus and yet beautiful skies and sun rays. I personally like the vertical crop more just because it isolates the focus area.
Pond
I think both versions of the pond photo are really cool but I like the set with the wide aperture more. I would love the other version but unfortunately I didn’t shoot it with a high enough of an aperture so the trees in the background are not sharp. But I do still love the framing of the photos at least.
Forest
This photo set I don’t particularly love in terms of composition; I just don’t really see it as an interesting photo, although I do think it shows how powerful of a tool photo stacking and HDR truly is. It makes every part of the photo pop with so much detail and color.
Sunset
This photo set was quite similar of an idea as with berries, with the sun in the background and all. This is also a fantastic example of how much photo stacking can do for an image. The HDR really brought out the color in the sky and preserved all the detail in the foreground which I loved. I personally like the second version more because it’s so vibrant and detailed. The texture is fantastic and sharp.
