Shape and intricacy seems to be the most prominent theme in his photos. He takes a very specific perspective to all of his subject matter. He also does a really nice job creating even photos in the sense of contrast. Almost every photo has a fullness to it that is very satisfying.<\/p>\n<p>Dorothea Lange &#8211; All black and white photos. Does a great job capturing genuine moments. Her portraits show real emotion and convey a message in a single picture. Many of her images emit pain in a very powerful way.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Any one looking at Dorothea&#8217;s photos today can see her feelings written all through them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It sounds like a lot of the pain we see could be a reflection of her frustration with Polio and her father&#8217;s desertion.<\/p>\n<p>I love she created a darkroom out of a chicken coup. Show&#8217;s her creativity and passion for photography.<\/p>\n<p>Through all of her work, there is clear intention behind it &#8211; I don&#8217;t mean intention in composition (they of course have that) But intention in the subject matter and story behind each photo<\/p>\n<p>Her photo, &#8220;Migrant Mother&#8221;, is probably my favorite photo of hers.
