For my community project and final story I would like to tell my experience and story of staying up in Orono during the pandemic. I want to use my experiences as well as bring in stories from family and friends to show how different the situation can be for different people. One goal of mine for the story is to keep it show the other stories and experiences from the pandemic other than my own, but at the same time maintaining the integrity of the story being mine. With that being said a few of the experiences I figured people would want insight on is both healthcare workers and teachers. Being in a fortunate situation of having my mom be a nurse and my girlfriend being a student-teacher I have been able to see both situations up close and see how it is affecting those in it. I wanted to use their experiences with my own to create a spectrum of stories that will encapsulate the pandemic from my perspective as well as a few others.
