I have two different ideas for our Corona-virus related posts. One is a more standard exploration of how this isolation with my close family has effected my day to day, specifically through the lense of the food we’ve been eating.
My other idea is how the current pandemic has effected how I’ve digested media and it’s messages, particularly about how it made a very particular moment from a recent show on netflix resonate with me in a way it probably wouldn’t have otherwise.
As for my final project I’d like to write a short story and attempt to use the Aesops story components and any other components available on word press to tell it in as non traditional a way as I can.
Both are possible, though the second at this point feels more distant and abstract to me; you could make it clearer and win me over; in any case having some theme or question is a good way to focus; I really like the specificity of food–as it offers a visual–you can photograph it; and it offers an unusual lens through which to view a larger event. I’ll look at your draft & get you some feedback!
