	Background	(MSSS) Loves the ocean, lives with 2 younger sisters and a father, mother died in the wilderness, very smart. (DDS) Abusive father; father tries to get better, DDS doesn’t believe in that; loves his mother, and has an older brother who he hasn’t seen for a long time. (ESS) Adopted by two great parents, was bullied in school but found a place in college. Both parents died in a diving accident. An only child. (MPS) Two great parents, wealthy family, has 2 younger siblings, often confident person. (MMS) Two moms and a stepmom, an only child, grew up by the ocean, parents work in a fishing company, don’t have many close friends due to intense focus on her interest. Found a great group of friends in college but have to leave them behind for the year-long project.

	What does this character want?	The worse versions want to replace the original MCs. The better versions don’t want the MCs to ruin their lives.
SITUATION	What is happening at the beginning of the story?	We get a glance at each MC’s life when receiving the letter for the opportunity (their life, their characters,…). The MCs getting to know each other.
INCITING EVENT	What event upsets the situation and introduces the main conflict?	DDS hits the wrong button which throws them into the alternate realm.
CONFLICT	How do the characters react to the inciting event?	They each go on their personal journey and help each other along the way.
	What sustains the conflict?	They do not know how to escape the realm, some of them want to stay.
	What are the stakes?	Their original lives.
	What choice must the hero make?	When given the choice to leave, it’s hard for some of them to take it.

Twist ending: they actually never get thrown into another dimension, they went into a coma and got infected by something in the water. (Overall, mental/internal journey).
