Use the feedback you got from Project 1 to create a revision of your project.

Consider some of the following:

• Get to the action sooner
• Give your characters some quirks that hint at plot issues
• Add details to setting that also hint at plot issues
• Try raising the stakes of action or events
• Add more material to keep the story going
• Remove unneeded material
• Try adding or reinforcing a symbol(s) in your story
• Use brief flashbacks to give essential info
• Give good/bad characters more moral complexity–all character should have a possibility of improving even if they miss it…(that’s tragedy)
• Make dialogue more punchy & plot significant or hint at critical info
