Premise

A janitor (Larkin Gross) meets an alien soldier (Voq) who deserted his army who is currently looking for him. Will she look out for her new friend or try to protect herself, first and foremost?

Seven Steps

1. Desire: To live and work long enough to be able to retire with her girlfriend.
2. Weakness/Need: To get out alive and warn the National Security Office (NSO) that her building’s been attacked by an alien militia.
3. Opponent: Commander Shi and the Ziitian Militia.
4. Plan: Call the NSO over the phone and warn them. Once that fails, hijack a ship and go to the NSO herself and warn them in person.
5. Battle: Plan 1 fails to signal jammers and power loss. Plan 2 is interrupted by Commander Shi, who they have to fight through in order to get to where the ships are.
6. Self-Revelation: Her decision to keep Voq alive. Either way, it will either make her appreciate what she has in life, just in case it gets taken away.
7. New Equilibrium: Depending on whether she keeps Voq alive, she can either go to the NSO with him or go by herself, if she didn’t keep him alive.
