bgtype=&#8221;color&#8221; full=&#8221;on&#8221; video_autoplay=&#8221;play_scroll&#8221; bgcolor=&#8221;#888888&#8243; revealfx=&#8221;inplace&#8221; overlay_revealfx=&#8221;inplace&#8221;]\n<p>The story starts with James and his business partner and best friend, Carl, on their yacht.\u00a0 They are playing a round of pool with drinks in their hand when Carl mentions how he failed to prank James earlier today.\u00a0 He asked the captain to fake a crash and act like the ship was going down but the captain was against it and didn&#8217;t agree to it.\u00a0 The two have a chuckle over how outrageous the idea was.\u00a0 However, mid laugh the ship thuds and starts to lean.\u00a0 The engine of the ship explodes at the rear of the ship.\u00a0 The two friends gain their balance and run out to the deck.\u00a0 As they make it out they get launched off the boat.\u00a0 James quickly falls unconscious but not before he could climb onto some debris.<\/p>\n[aesop_chapter  title=&#8221;The Beach&#8221; bgtype=&#8221;color&#8221; full=&#8221;on&#8221; video_autoplay=&#8221;play_scroll&#8221; bgcolor=&#8221;#af6060&#8243; revealfx=&#8221;inplace&#8221; overlay_revealfx=&#8221;inplace&#8221;]\n<p>James wakes up when it is daytime and he is laying on shore of a beach on what appears to be a fairly large, yet remote island.\u00a0 He stands up and looks around and quickly spots Carl also unconscious nearby also washed up.\u00a0 He goes over and wakes him up and explains how bold and incredible a prank that was.\u00a0 Carl insists it wasn&#8217;t the prank he had was going to do but James doesn&#8217;t believe him.\u00a0 The two are known for their dumb shenanigans so James thinks this is all still a prank.\u00a0 Carl is starting to panic as he knows they are screwed as they have no survival skills.\u00a0 Carl insists that they start doing the basic survival tasks like finding shelter and food but James refuses to do anything until Carl admits to his prank.\u00a0 Carl being fed up walks into the tree line by the beach and as he finds a berry bush starts exclaiming what he found.\u00a0 As he is picking them a jungle cat latches onto Carl and with a tight grip pulls him in to the jungle.\u00a0 James hears screaming and roaring but just ignores it as he knows it is a prank.\u00a0 James sits on the beach playing a game on his phone with the little battery he has left on it.\u00a0 As the phone dies it is starting to turn dark and he figures he should go check and see what is taking Carl so long.\u00a0 He walks into the area where Carl was attacked and finds a blood trail.\u00a0 He follows it and finds a ripped apart carcass of his friend.\u00a0 James exclaims that Carl is very good and he is going through all of the cards to pull this prank off.\u00a0 He got fake blood and a realistic fake skeleton to pull this off.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>James heads back to the beach and using the little debris that has washed up makes a little tent structure and he sleeps the night away.\u00a0 He wakes up due to lots of commotion as his tent falls down on top of him.\u00a0 He is surrounded by 8 strange people (natives).\u00a0 He gets up startled at first but he soon realizes this is all part of the prank.\u00a0 James confidently walks around them all flicking at their weapons exclaiming that they craftsmanship of the spears are not very good.\u00a0 The natives are very wearing and taken aback at how confident this man is after being surrounded by their best warriors.\u00a0 James puts his hand into his pocket to pull out his dead phone and as the islanders see him reach into his pocket and take it out they dash of running as they fear he had a weapon.\u00a0 James thinks to himself &#8220;whatever, that was a really bad prank they weren&#8217;t convincing at all&#8221; and he decides to enjoy his island life and take a swim.\u00a0 He is in the ocean relaxing for hours until he gets hungry.\u00a0 James waddles out of the water, sunbathes, and starts to eat the berries Carl found earlier near by.\u00a0 He pus his tent back up and decides to take a nap as he waits for Carl to give up on the gag.\u00a0 Right as he drifts asleep he gets grabbed by the islanders he met earlier.\u00a0 They all restrain him and quickly tie him up.\u00a0 James remains calm cool and collected and just lets them take him away.\u00a0 He is tied up being carried off for roughly a one hour trek deep into the jungle.<\/p>\n[aesop_chapter  title=&#8221;The Village&#8221; bgtype=&#8221;color&#8221; full=&#8221;on&#8221; video_autoplay=&#8221;play_scroll&#8221; bgcolor=&#8221;#7560af&#8221; revealfx=&#8221;inplace&#8221; overlay_revealfx=&#8221;inplace&#8221;]\n<p>James is taken to the village where he thinks he will be untied and the prank will be over.\u00a0 However, the warriors trade positions with the village tribesman and he is now being carried deep into another part of the jungle.\u00a0 They eventually make it all the way to the top of the islands central mountain.\u00a0 However, as they reach the peak James realizes that this is not a mountain, it is a volcano.\u00a0 He still is not worried until another random person he does not know is thrown into the volcano and it burned alive by the lava.\u00a0 It is now at this point where he starts to realize maybe he is in actual danger.\u00a0 The only thing he can think to do is with his hands pressed up against his waist to reach into his pocket and pull out is phone like he did before.\u00a0 The priests who surround him are shocked and back up as he pulls it out.\u00a0 They priests look curious and try to stare into the magical brick he holds.\u00a0 They see their reflection in the screen and believe that James is a god and possesses a magical item.\u00a0 They quickly release him and bring him back to the village where they shower him in affection, food, and gifts.<\/p>\n[aesop_chapter  title=&#8221;The Escape&#8221; bgtype=&#8221;color&#8221; full=&#8221;on&#8221; video_autoplay=&#8221;play_scroll&#8221; bgcolor=&#8221;#8baf60&#8243; revealfx=&#8221;inplace&#8221; overlay_revealfx=&#8221;inplace&#8221;]\n<p>Everything is going great for him now until while showing off his magic device to the islanders he accidentally drops it and the screen shatters.\u00a0 The islanders see this as bad fortune as he has destroyed their image on the phone and he must be killed now.\u00a0 James makes a run for it as he realizes what happens.\u00a0 He has a small lead so he hides in one of their empty huts.\u00a0 He sees packs from other people who have washed up on to this island and he puts it on his back and starts to run again as they are getting close.\u00a0 James is chased by the islanders all through the jungle until he finally makes it back to the beach he originally washed up to.\u00a0 With no where to go he climbs up a tree and hides for the night.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During his night in the tree he digs through the pack he picked up and goes through the contents.\u00a0 Surprisingly he finds a portable charger with a cable so he plugs his phone in.\u00a0 He is only able to get 10 percent charge but it is enough for him to work with.\u00a0 Surprisingly, he does have cellular service so he pings the find my Iphone.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The next morning James&#8217;s assistant back at the office walks by his desk and realizes there is an alert on the laptop.\u00a0 It is the find my Iphone alert.\u00a0 The assistant puts two and two together after knowing that his yacht crashed at sea and she calls the police for help and rescue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When the coast is clear James makes his way down from the tree and walks onto the beach.\u00a0 He thinks he is safe until he hears yelling off in the distance and realizes they will be closing in on him soon.\u00a0 His only option is to take some of the debris left on the beach and use it like a paddle board to get distance off in the ocean.\u00a0 He wades deep in the ocean to keep distance but the islanders start to swim out to him.\u00a0 Just as they are getting near a search and rescue boat is seen off in the distance.\u00a0 The boat pulls up to him and pulls him on board while the islanders start throwing their spears at the boat.\u00a0 One of the spears hits James in the leg.\u00a0 However, they are able to make it out and they are headed back to civilization.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[aesop_chapter title=&#8221;Ocean&#8221;
