Kacie B."},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>BRIEF DISCLAIMER<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">This story was originally written to be a RPG, and has RPG aspects that affect the story or &#8220;gameplay.&#8221;\u00a0 I plan on continuing to write it as an RPG but I will be leaning more into dialogue than other forms of traditional gameplay, so if you come across things that seem like &#8220;random encounters&#8221; or other similar gameplay mechanics keep this in mind, if you think something doesn&#8217;t seem right don&#8217;t let this sway your opinion though, especially if I&#8217;m leaning too hard into RPG stereotypes.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>CHARACTER FUNCTIONS<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ilyas [Protagonist]:<\/strong>\u00a0 One of the two leaders in the group.\u00a0 He is the &#8216;hero&#8217; of the story, and makes many important decisions in the group.\u00a0 He ends up being the one to defeat the antagonist at the end of the story.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Einar[Ally]:\u00a0 <\/strong>One of the two leaders in the group.\u00a0 He takes on a mentor role in the story, using his skills and experience to help Ilyas make informed decisions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dean [Ally]:<\/strong>\u00a0 Challenges the status quo for basic survival, and brings her own education and perspective to the party.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kymil [Ally]:\u00a0<\/strong> A moral compass of the party, they believe in helping anyone who needs help.\u00a0 A purely neutral ground, while they are not familiar with human morals.<\/p>\n<p><b>Qwin [Fake-Opponent Ally\/ Subplot Character]:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 While he is not seen as an opponent to the main plot, he is seen as a danger despite his good, and sometimes even non-existent intentions.\u00a0 This character is mostly in the subplot, and at first seems detached from the story, but his narrative further builds the world and helps unlock an ability of the main character, which ultimately helps the group reach their goal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ava [Fake-Ally Opponent\/ Potential Subplot Character]:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 While she does not try to directly harm anyone in the group once she joins, she obscures her true intentions to be closer with Ilyas so that she may bring him back home.\u00a0 She holds no care for what happens with the humans who make their homes in bunkers, and is out to look after her people before anything else.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is in direct opposition to the main goal, as Ilyas is a leader in the group and is seen as a necessary part of them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Petra [Opponent]:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>She is a clear &#8216;bad guy&#8217; of this story, though she does not become known as one until the end.\u00a0 Her plans have been affecting them throughout the entire story, but it was always brushed off as something unrelated.\u00a0 Only when she is found out does she become a visible opponent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Environment [Opponent]:<\/strong> The harsh weather is a constant opponent that cannot ever truly be defeated, frequent Blizzards decline characters health, and could kill them if they don&#8217;t occasionally take it slow or stop to warm up.\u00a0 Wild animals are also a danger in the story, and occasionally attack characters.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>CHARACTER ARCHETYPES<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ilyas [&#8220;Mother&#8221;]:\u00a0 <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He cares for his friends and allies and is protective of them.\u00a0 Wants them to be safe and happy and will help them reach it whenever possible.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Einar[Mentor]:\u00a0 <\/strong>Guides the protagonist throughout the story.\u00a0 He is an introduction to the world the protagonist finds himself in and helps him navigate it.<\/p>\n<p><b>Dean [Rebel]:\u00a0 <\/b>Is an emotional guide to the party.\u00a0 She is the youngest by a lot and is inexperienced with survival out of textbooks.\u00a0 She keeps the protagonist from making rash decisions that could end up with him hurting himself for the betterment of the group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kymil [Magician]:<\/strong>\u00a0 Takes the party to beings who may be able to help them on their mission.\u00a0 They help keep a relative calm in the group.<\/p>\n<p><b>Qwin [Trickster]:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 Becomes a question of morals for the protagonist and the rest of the party.\u00a0 He also helps the protagonist unlock a power he didn&#8217;t know he had and teaches him that it is okay to take breaks and relax.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ava [Warrior]:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Is also a question of morals for the protagonist, but on the opposite end.\u00a0 She teaches him about who he used to be and where he came from.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Petra [Artist]:<\/b>\u00a0 Shows how she is a product of some of the more dystopian aspects of bunker life.\u00a0 Shows the protagonist the worse side of humanity.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>ARCHETYPE DESCRIPTION<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><b>Ilyas &#8211; Main Protagonist [&#8220;Mother&#8221;]:<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He cares for his friends and allies, and takes on struggles that other people would be better suited for because of it.\u00a0 He is protective, and doesn\u2019t wish harm on people he has an emotional connection with.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He holds on to these emotional connections he\u2019s made, despite whether he should or not, because of how loose he feels to his own reality.\u00a0 Which could be classified as selfish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While he provides care, he does not coddle the people around him or shield them from danger.\u00a0 He tries to prevent that danger first, and if someone were to fall into it he would help without much thought, but he still expects people to pull their own weight.\u00a0 It is only when he feels they cannot that he steps in to help.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And while he likes organization, and to be a leader, he wants to hear what others have to say if he is unsure of a path.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><b>Petra &#8211;
