No post is required this week. Please make these additions directly to your design document (or a text file you will use to copy/paste into that document.)
This week’s task continues your work on your player/protagonist, this time considering the abilities that can help them to make progress, and then creating levels needed for your player/protagonist to continue pursuit of their initial desire, and also see that desire grow into a deeper psychological, social, or moral need. Levels should correspond to lessons learned, achievement, but most importantly character growth.
You do not need many levels, not super detailed descriptions of all levels. If you think your game will have many levels, then sketch out a few critical ones in detail and then just use basic notes for the other levels. The point is to give a good feel for the pace of the game, and the levels of challenges that will help your player/protagonist develop.
