This week’s task is scene building(the real skill of storytelling) , basically to create one or two really detailed scenes from your game. I would skip the opening scenes, as they tend to have too little action (and just set up and learning),. So better to focus on a key plot turn scene such as first conflict with antagonist, or first major obstacle or near-death experience.
The idea here is to give your audience a real details specific and concrete experience of what the game play will be like–what will we do? see? hear? learn? what or who will we encounter? what will some possible outcomes be? This is where you get to give a real feel for your game–possible the most important selling point of the game.
