  • Game Questions pg. 8
    • SinglePlayer:
      • This is a single-player game
    • Multiplayer:
      • this will not be a multiplayer game
    • Are you planning on DLC:
      • I would love to have artwork of the characters and the environments to be downloaded. Perhaps posters and other merchandise?
    • How many hours of gameplay do you anticipate?:
      • I would. love for this game to take many hours, if not days to play and explore.
    • What is your game’s victory conditions?:
      • The player must free the guardians and explore the world, while also making personal growth.
  • Game Story pg. 9
    • The child wakes up in a large forest, confused and afraid
    • They’re in a world they don’t know with anyone in sight
    • They have the choice to try and return home or to try and explore
    • If they choose to explore there are many places they can go; the battlefield, the fortress
    • All paths lead them to the fortress in one way or another
    • In the fortress, they can explore the different rooms
      • The armory
      • The forges
      • The library
      • Training areas
      • Town
      • Healers
      • Room of Commarunans and Commarunas
      • Gardens
      • Etc.
    • Throughout the game, they can explore and learn about the guardian race but they also have to be wary of demons and creatures patrolling the area
    • The child is guided by Runa throughout the game, with warnings and advice
    • Once the child gets to a certain point, they can enter the maze solve riddles, perhaps fight demons and creatures with artifacts/weapons of the guardians
      • They will learn these skills from experiences and environments in the game
    • Once the child defats the monsters and openness the gates, the guardians are free and perhaps the game shows a sequence of videos or images of what happens afterward how the guardians crush the demons and save humanity

  • Game Inspiration pg. 10-13-this will include (low res images from) model games (consider your early assignment in this class to share your favorite games)
    • I don’t play many video games, but I do like the video game “Journey” which allows the player to explore the world freely and at their own pace. I also have played a little of Skyrim, and I enjoyed the fantasy theme and environment. For Skyrim, I also enjoyed the level of detail for the environment, and the natural beauty it had.
