Using the description of a premise from John Truby’s The Anatomy of Story, update your game “premise.” This should be a dense, concise single sentence that capture all the key elements of your game narrative.

“A brave explorer goes on an adventure packed journey through a mystical forest.”

Then follow the Game World layout on pages 14-15 in the Game Design Document and develop the following sections

  4. Scale
  5. Objects

  7. Day/night
  8. Game Engine & why
  9. Camera
  10. Environment–2D? 3D? etc
  11. Lighting
  12. Setting Game Summary
  13. Any other section you need
