Welcome to Tributaries

What you will find here are “Stories of Connection” according to the New Media students who created them.  Whether sci fi, fantasy, memoir, short fiction, or graphic design essay, each of these is about some form of connection.

Most students made use of the WordPress plug-in called Aesop Story Engine. With this plugin, students are able to use rich media, including images, video, and sound to create interactive stories. Features include chapters, parallax scrolling, video, timelines, maps, and audio.

Other students used Adobe Spark Post, Page or Video to create their stories.  And finally a few have used Twine, a platform for creating interactive, “choose-as-you-go” non-linear stories. Got a mystery? Twine will help you lure readers into the labyrinths of your story.

Feel free to browse the stories and leave questions or comments!
