Task 3 – JacobH – Digital Storytelling

Story Events

Agent Fond along with Agents Bouche and Esprit start the story completing a mission: Bouche is convincing the evil man to stay whilst Esprit drives herself along with Fond through the city of Paris to reach the destination.
The agents arrive to the less-important enemy in the opening scene and are able to take him out successfully (undecided how)
The three return to home base to discuss a meeting over their next target.
Their boss, Bastien Loup, gives them their next enemy, a group of 3 including Pierre Désir, the main target.
The three arrive to the formal dinner dance, where they spot their target.
Bouche and Esprit take the other two guys whilst Fond goes for Pierre, how they do this: during the song Rasputin, a synchronized dance as they make their ways to the boys to take them out by slipping tiny explosives into their pockets to set off once they escape.
Fond finally makes it to Pierre and they make the gaze, they fall in love. Fond therefore does not slip the explosive in the pocket but the other two do.
Fond explains to the others who yell at her and therefore are nervous that the explosives will be found. They can’t set them off either or they would be caught onto.
Loup expresses his disappointment and expresses that she needs to find and track them down and kill him. They have a deadline and it’s important, and she can’t slip it up again.
Whilst on her own whereabouts, she runs into Pierre. Love takes over and she doesn’t end up calling the other agents.
Her and Pierre end up talking and going for a drink, they begin talking and hitting it off.
She gets called away and leaves the date (throughout everything she’s constantly getting notified that she needs to hunt him down).
Fond and Pierre hang out once again, getting more romantic, when he brings up the fact that her and the agents were trying to kill him. She expresses her love for him and him to her and they kiss. They are truly in love.
Loup catches Fond and Pierre together on an old camera by an abandoned factory.
Fond goes into Loup’s office where he threatens to kill her family (who she has expressed greatly about) if she doesn’t kill him.
The final night, Fond arrives to a ball with Loup, whilst the other two agents find his henchmen elsewhere and are killing them, therefore Fond must go through with the murder. Loup has set up for a blackout at the ball where she will be able to stab him and run off unexposed.
They dance at the ball to a beautiful song; as they dance her emotions grow stronger as she realizes she has to kill someone she loves so dearly. The lights blackout, and he is dead.

Weakness & Need

Agent Fond falls deeply in love with her enemy, and has to go through with the fact that she must kill him to protect her family that she has been protecting, the whole reason she became an agent in the first place.

Desire

To protect her family + overcome love and temptation.

Opponent

Bastien Loup, wants the man Fond has fallen for to die for his own desires. She works for him and has threatened to kill her family if she doesn’t go through with it.

Plan

Battle

Loup threatening Fond that she must either kill her romantic love or her family will die, the whole reason she became an agent.

Self-Revelation

Although love is so powerful, her family truly means the world to her more. Blood before water.

New Equilibrium

A heartbreaking ending. She hugs and loves her family that is now still protected, receiving a large amount of money for her mission, but she stares at the item that he gave her to remember him still.
