Story Events:

• They each get their letters of acceptance. Within these scenes you see a bit about each family
• when they all first arrive in the main room of the program and meet for the first time
• When they then get briefed by the head person about what exactly they will be doing and their own personal positions on the team and what they are expected to do.
• The month of training before will be a sort of montage of the physical training and I will go more in depth about the personal interactions with the MCs.
• Once they enter the ship that will take them down to the ocean floor and their new home for the next year.
• Just them exploring their new home in the structure in the ocean.
• Detailed first night and the small party they throw now that they are finally on their own without instructors.
• During this party you get to know the characters more because now they are all relaxed and starting to open up more to the other MC’s
• The incident where they are all out on research duty and an unidentified creature comes up to them and the demolition/ weapons student tries to shoot it once it become aggressive towards the ship. They end up shooting it but they also hit what they thought was the ocean floor below it. This crack opens up once they go down to inspect the dead creature. The ship is then dragged down into the further depths with the now dead creature. They enter the gate to the “new world”
• Once they are in the new world they see another ship that is identical to their’s shoot up out of the crack that the team came from. Once this ship leaves the crack closes behind them.
• ( The ship they are passing is them in the future. The audience will not know this until the end of the story when the main characters finally escape and they pass their pass selves from the beginning of the story.)

1. WEAKNESS & NEED

Psychological and Moral Self-Revelation

(MSSS) now known as Alakai

• Psychological: He only thinks about others and how he can best help them. But because of this he does not take care of himself. He needs to become more selfish. 
• Moral: Despite his desire to help others sometimes it can be smothering and he ends up doing more harm coddling them than good. He needs to learn how to give space when someone needs it.

(DDS) now known as Diyo

• Psychological: He is mentally and physically damaging himself. He takes the brunt of any situation to make sure others don’t have too. This causes him deep emotional and physical trauma. He needs to learn to take better care of himself.
• Moral: Despite his care for others if he doesn’t trust you yet you are as worthless to him a piece dirt. He needs to become more caring to strangers or else he could put the whole group at danger because of how he treats people/ entities he doesn’t know or trust.

(ESS) now known as Jolene aka Jo

• Psychological: She is extremely quiet and because of that she does not have many friends but the few that she does have are amazing for her. But, now that she is in a new setting again she is back in her shell. Will she mentally be able to help herself get through a year with random strangers.
• Moral:  If she does not figure out how to communicate with her team she will not be able to help them when they need her the most.

(MPS) now known as Tobias

• Psychological: He is extremely cocky and is overly confidant even in situations he should be more weary about. In the end though if he does not change is attitude of him needing to be perfect all the time he will loose who he actually is. 
• Moral:  If he continues to underestimate the others on his team because he thinks he is better than them he will ultimently loose something or someone extremely important to him.

(MMS) now known as Katia

• Psychological and Moral: As of right now Katia is going to be the team member who will die in this. She will not have a huge part in the story but her short impact will last. It will shape the characters around her.

WEAKNESS & NEED

Alakai: He only thinks about others

Jo: Lack of communication skills

Tobias: The belief that he needs to be perfect all of the time

Katia: To express her true emotions even when they are valid. 

NEED

Alakai: Figure out what happened to his mom in order to find closure – finds out in alternate realm

Diyo: Give his mother a better life

Jo: Figure out how/why her parents died

Tobias: Understand his place in the world without his family name attached to it

Katia: Figure out how to be independent without her family/friends.

DESIRE

Alakai: Explore the ocean

Diyo: Become the best demolition expert.

Jo: Wants to become the best diving equipment engineer/underwater vessel. 

Tobias: Wants to become the best underwater pilot.

Katia: Become the best marine mammalogist.

OPPONENT

Alternate versions of the MCs

Each antagonist is the either worse or better version of the MCs (POTENTIALLY ONLY ONE OR TWO WILL FACE THEMSELVES AND THE OTHERS WILL FACE SOMEONE IN THEIR LIVES> THEY FACE THEIR OWN WORST DEMON< WHETHER THAT BE THEMSELVES OR SOMEONE ELSE) (One scene shows the MC’s enemy who slowly morphed into them self when they look at the Antagonist (SO they thought the were “Battling” someone else when in reality they were fighting against how the MC had acted in the past) 

Alakai: worse

PLAN

The team’s plan when they initially get sent into the depths was to discover a new creature and research and learn as much as they could about it. Once they entered the new realm their plan is to escape the mental hell that they have entered. (Soon one of the characters will put the pieces together and realize this is all just in their heads. The idea that it might all be fake is when Katia dies and they all hear the same heart monitor sound.)

BATTLE

The main battle in this story will occur with each main character fighting against their own inner demon, whether that be the person Tobias’s family want him to become or Diyo’s father. This will show how the group has grown and the only way for them to truly escape their own mental hell will be to use what they have learned not only about themselves but about each other to defeat their rivals.

SELF-REVELATION

Alakai: When Alakai is battling himself at the end he finally realizes what he will become if he can’t learn to put himself first.

Diyo: His self-revelation will only happen once he forgives himself and realizes that what happened to his mother was not his fault.

Jo: Jo needs to learn how to communicate. Her self-revelation will come when her voice is the only thing standing between her new friend and death. (Two scenarios: 1. her words work and her friend is saved and she realizes that her words have meaning and what she has to say is important or 2. (Darker version) She does not get up the courage in time to use her words and her friend (Katia) dies. Jo finally realizes that if she had only spoken up she could have saved Katia. a whirlwind of emotions later she finally is able to use her voice and realizes that she does have the ability to change things.

Tobias: His self-revliation comes when his pride puts others in danger (Katia) and once she is put in danger because of what he did he finally realizes what he says has consequences. (Him and Jo both grow together because they both had a hand in Katia’s death. sadly it was the only way for both of them to truly have self-revelations because they both share the same idea that nothing they do to other people matters. Jo in the sense that nothing she says will hold any merit. and for Tobias it is nothing that he says will have an impact on another persons life, also the fact that he doesn’t care what he says even if it hurts someone.) 

Katia: Katia is the kind of character that is “too good for this world” and she wants people to stop seeing her as this bubbly happy person all the time. when in fact she is just as sad if not more sad than everyone else. She is just much better at hiding it. 

NEW EQUILIBRIUM

Once they all escape from the mental hell they realize that they will all never be the same. Some for better and some for worse, but one thing they all know is that they need to live their life like it’s their last day for Katia. No matter where they go they know there will always be a string keeping them all attached to one another.
