Agent Fond (Agent of Emotion & Heart) – Protagonist – Main character, desiring to protect her family through her occupation as an agent but also desiring Pierre, her love interest.

Bastien Loup – Antagonist/Opponent – Boss to Fond, desiring Pierre but his death due to his criminal history.

Agent Bouche (Agent of Persuasion & Mouth) / Agent Esprit (Agent of Intelligence & Mind) – Ally – Two agents along with Fond in the almighty trio who work with one another.

Pierre Désir – Subplot character – “Enemy” in the story, soon to be love interest of Agent Fond.

Pierre’s Henchmen – Nameless Subplot Characters – Trio vs. Trio.

Agent Fond’s mother, younger sister and younger brother – Subplot characters. The reason Fond is an agent.

Archetypes

I would describe Agent Fond, my protagonist, to be a Lover above all, but she can relate to a Rebel as well. Not only does she have strong love for her family (in which we will learn they are the entire reason she is an agent) but also when she falls in love with Pierre. She comes across the different types of love which can be very overwhelming for her. She is a rebel in the sense of not complying with her boss at first and going against his orders for her own desires.

She gains this individuality from her independence, although love is strong with her emotion, she can handle herself quite well and not be completely infatuated by love to make her own decisions. She partially deviates at the end of the story, when she ends up killing the man she fell in love with, but I say partially as she does it out of love for her family that she has now saved from her boss. Her occupation also shows a sense of individuality because although a lover, she has no issue murdering those that she must, yet again, she does it out of love for her family. Configuring how she deviates from her archetype is quite hard.

Bastien Loup, her boss, comes across as a Shadow archetype, therefore he rules over her and therefore brings her this great decision to choose family or a man for her love. This threatening decision will challenge her to truly figure out herself and her emotions (as her symbolic agent of heart comes to play) and figure out her true love.

Shadows tend to be the enemy here, but Bastien is a father figure to Agent Fond, which can be quite misleading. He did bring her the opportunity to save her family and have them treated well but his threatening of her family really turns the tables. Bastien, unlike the Shadow archetype, isn’t stopping Fond from reaching her goals per-say, it;’s the relationship of whom he is (the boss of a highly run agent base) that is stopping her, therefore he has no malicious intent, but for the sake of his reputation, Pierre must die and therefore he. must force her to kill him.

Fond’s mother – Mother Archetype. Kind of easy to figure, but she has learned a lot from her mother in life lessons, and therefore her messages resonate strongly with who she is today.
